`Terrorist` detention

It looks like 42 day detention without charge is going to get through the house of commons. I don’t think it will get through house of lords, and even if it does I would hope it was challenged in the high court and overturned as a violation of our human rights (like id cards the first time around in 1951).
I think it has nothing to do with the threat of terrorism, as if you look at Northern Ireland you will find that detention without trial actually encouraged membership to the ira. It completely ignores our human right. It violates the Magna Carta, and ignores Habeas Corpus.
As someone who has been a labour voter, and who comes from a family of labour voters I have no understanding of what they are actually doing at the moment, no wonder they have lost so many members.
I had better stop writing about this before I get arrested for thoughtcrimes, I will leave the amazing Liberty to give you more information.
